Firefighters are battling a large industrial blaze at a car scrapyard in Wimbletown, Ballyboughal, north County Dublin.
The incident has drawn significant attention due to a massive smoke plume that spread across the sky, making the fire visible from Dublin Airport and across the city.
Emergency crews responded to the site in Wimbletown, which is located approximately 10 kilometres [1] from Dublin Airport. The scale of the fire required a coordinated response from the fire brigade to contain the flames at the industrial facility.
